Kyle from Sugar Steak Apparel contacted me the other day asking that I take a look at his new line. I liked the art right off, and the concept is is interesting as well. The shirts range from full vibrant color to simple one color shirts and are primarily printed on black. The limited edition tee’s are currently being printed on different colors. Each order also comes with a Bubble Boy decal (pictured below), which would be a welcome addition to my laptop.
The Ass Backwards shirt is a nice vibrant illustration at the base that transitions into a halftone pattern at the edges. It’s offset by the clean line art that overlays it and ties the illustration together. The title is pretty clever as well, if you don’t get it, look at the illustration and think a little harder. I also like the fact that it’s a full front print, I’ve really been into them lately.
